Morning Glory

When one million souls in southern Sweden got their morning paper Sydsvenskan last Sunday, they probably got a big smile on their faces when they saw the front page and the pure stroke of genius from the whiz kids at visiondivision.
Were happy that Hill Hut got its acknowledgement that it deserved and hopefully the northern parts of the country will be informed as well.

Spröjs House Update + Summer House Collection

The next smash hit from the visiondivision factory; Spröjs House, has gained construction speed once again after being idle during the severe polar storms that lasted for a couple of months. The building site is looking good and we are looking forward to see the final result in late spring. The notion of Spröjs House has already led to a fun and unexpected collaboration for our office. This spring we will design our very first collection of prêt-à-porter summer houses in an alliance with Sommarnöjen, so every one can get an affordable top notch summer house designed by visiondivision.

Archive Fill Up

A group of skilled conservation professionals have done a careful examination of the extensive archive of visiondivision memorabilia and urged us to put our entire showcase of projects and adventures on display.
Therefore we have added some new features on this site; for example, check out our full project list with links to each one of the projects. We will put all our older efforts on this site little by little but some old classics are already in the system, just browse the older archives.

Frame, Face & Friends

The magazine streak continues,
you could for example check out the smoking hot Frame magazine and Concepts & Tendencies where our shoe empire Mangrolia Chaussures is featured.
The team is also interviewed in Face; a chinese magazine where some of our projects also are on display.

Our waterfall Eden Falls can now be found not only in Mark Magazine and Weekend Weekly as we mentioned in an earlier post, but is now also available in the Russian, the Portuguese, the Chinese and the Korean language as well; see for example Aeroflot's inflight magazine, Attitude magazine, Ming Magazine, Surface Magazine and ScienceMania (Kwahak Jangee).

Tornado is featured in the Russian Tall Buildings magazine and in the Spanish Arquitectura y Diseño.

We're also featured in the Swedish 4Ark, not with any projects this time but with our stern and watchful faces. Sometimes thats enough.

Eden Falls in Mark Magazine & Weekend Weekly

The rumor about our waterfall project has spread across the globe and here are some of the magazines that recently have published it;

Mark Magazine, one of the most renowned publications of architecture. With an interesting mix of established and emerging architects they continue to be an inspiration to many people out there. By a divine chance we're included in the Feb/Mar issue.

Eden Falls is also published in Weekend Weekly, "one of Hong Kong’s leading and best selling Travel, Dining & Leisure Magazines. Weekend Weekly is dedicated to surprise readers with most diversified and up-to-date information on what’s new and noteworthy regarding travel, entertainment, shopping and dining. It has also been the magazine's key mission to share a dynamic attitude in lifestyle with all of their readers."

We humbly bow to the sublime taste of the editors.

Sub-Zero

An arctic winter of ice age proportions has struck Stockholm.
In the middle of these sub-zero conditions a new client approached the team.
She wanted to build a new house among a group of cottages from the 18th century, a very delicate task that the talents just couldn’t refuse.
The team went out in to the frost covered woods with shovels, trying to clear the site from snow so they could measure it up before coming up with an idea as eminent as the mission.
